He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.4He determines the number of the stars; He calls them each by name.
Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.

He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.16He spreads the snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes;
He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?17He casts forth His hail like pebbles. Who can withstand His icy blast?
He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.18He sends forth His word and melts them; He unleashes His winds, and the waters flow.
He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.19He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and judgments to Israel.
He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the LORD!20He has done this for no other nation; they do not know His judgments. Hallelujah!
