| 1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? | 1I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? |

| 3He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. | 3He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. |
| 4Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. | 4Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. |
