NASB Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Holman Christian Standard Bible
For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes.1For the choir director. A psalm of David, the LORD's servant. An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked person: There is no dread of God before his eyes,
For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his iniquity and the hatred of it.2for in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to discover and hate his sin.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.3The words of his mouth are malicious and deceptive; he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.
He plans wickedness upon his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not despise evil.4Even on his bed he makes malicious plans. He sets himself on a path that is not good and does not reject evil.
Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.5 LORD, Your faithful love reaches to heaven, Your faithfulness to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O LORD, You preserve man and beast.6Your righteousness is like the highest mountains; Your judgments, like the deepest sea. LORD, You preserve man and beast.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.7God, Your faithful love is so valuable that people take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.8They are filled from the abundance of Your house; You let them drink from Your refreshing stream,
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.9for with You is life's fountain. In Your light we will see light.
O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.10Spread Your faithful love over those who know You, and Your righteousness over the upright in heart.
Let not the foot of pride come upon me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.11Do not let the foot of the arrogant man come near me or the hand of the wicked one drive me away.
There the doers of iniquity have fallen; They have been thrust down and cannot rise.12There the evildoers fall; they have been thrown down and cannot rise.
