Psalm 43
NASB Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Holman Christian Standard Bible
1Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!1Vindicate me, God, and defend my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?2For You are the God of my refuge. Why have You rejected me? Why must I go about in sorrow because of the enemy's oppression?
3O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.3Send Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain, to Your dwelling place.
4Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.4Then I will come to the altar of God, to God, my greatest joy. I will praise You with the lyre, God, my God.
5Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.5Why am I so depressed? Why this turmoil within me? Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him, my Savior and my God.
