| 1A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it. | 1Of David. A psalm. The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; |
| 2For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the rivers. | 2for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. |

| 4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. | 4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. |
