Psalm 23
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.1The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.2He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.4Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.5You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
6Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.6Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
