| 15The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. | 15The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. |

| 23The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man." | 23Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” |
| 24That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. | 24Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. |
| 25Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. | 25And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. |
