| 12young men and women, old men and children. | 12young men and young women alike, along with older people and children. |
| 13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens. | 13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is lifted up; his majesty transcends earth and heaven. |
| 14And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD. | 14He has raised up a source of strength for his people, an object of praise for all of his holy ones, that is, for the people of Israel who are near him. Hallelujah! |
