| 2For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? | 2For you are the God who shelters me. Why do you reject me? Why must I walk around mourning because my enemies oppress me? |
| 3Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle. | 3Reveal your light and your faithfulness! They will lead me, they will escort me back to your holy hill, and to the place where you live. |
