(2 Samuel 23:1-7) 1A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. | 1My heart is steadfast, O God! 5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. | 5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. |

12Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. | 12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! | 12Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain. | 12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. | 12Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless. |
