1Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD. Give praise, O servants of the LORD, 1הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ הַֽ֭לְלוּ אֶת־ שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה הַֽ֝לְלוּ עַבְדֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
2who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. 2שֶׁ֣֭עֹֽמְדִים בְּבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝חַצְר֗וֹת בֵּ֣ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
3Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praises to His name, for it is lovely. 3הַֽ֭לְלוּ־ יָהּ כִּי־ ט֣וֹב יְהוָ֑ה זַמְּר֥וּ לִ֝שְׁמ֗וֹ כִּ֣י נָעִֽים׃
4For the LORD has chosen Jacob as His own, Israel as His treasured possession. 4כִּֽי־ יַעֲקֹ֗ב בָּחַ֣ר ל֣וֹ יָ֑הּ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל לִסְגֻלָּתֽוֹ׃
5For I know that the LORD is great; our Lord is above all gods. 5כִּ֤י אֲנִ֣י יָ֭דַעְתִּי כִּי־ גָד֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וַ֝אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ מִכָּל־ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
6The LORD does whatever pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. 6כֹּ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־ חָפֵ֥ץ יְהוָ֗ה עָ֫שָׂ֥ה בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם וּבָאָ֑רֶץ בַּ֝יַּמִּ֗ים וְכָל־ תְּהוֹמֽוֹת׃
7He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings the wind from His storehouses. 7מַֽעֲלֶ֣ה נְשִׂאִים֮ מִקְצֵ֪ה הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ בְּרָקִ֣ים לַמָּטָ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה מֽוֹצֵא־ ר֝וּחַ מֵאֽוֹצְרוֹתָֽיו׃
8He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, of both man and beast. 8שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה בְּכוֹרֵ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם מֵ֝אָדָ֗ם עַד־ בְּהֵמָֽה׃
9He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants. 9שָׁלַ֤ח ׀ אֹת֣וֹת וּ֭מֹפְתִים בְּתוֹכֵ֣כִי מִצְרָ֑יִם בְּ֝פַרְעֹ֗ה וּבְכָל־ עֲבָדָֽיו׃
10He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings: 10שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֑ים וְ֝הָרַ֗ג מְלָכִ֥ים עֲצוּמִֽים׃
11Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan. 11לְסִיח֤וֹן ׀ מֶ֤לֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֗י וּ֭לְעוֹג מֶ֣לֶךְ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן וּ֝לְכֹ֗ל מַמְלְכ֥וֹת כְּנָֽעַן׃
12He gave their land as an inheritance, a heritage to His people Israel. 12וְנָתַ֣ן אַרְצָ֣ם נַחֲלָ֑ה נַ֝חֲלָ֗ה לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל עַמּֽוֹ׃
13Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your renown, O LORD, through all generations. 13יְ֭הוָה שִׁמְךָ֣ לְעוֹלָ֑ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה זִכְרְךָ֥ לְדֹר־ וָדֹֽר׃
14For the LORD will vindicate His people and will have compassion on His servants. 14כִּֽי־ יָדִ֣ין יְהוָ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ וְעַל־ עֲ֝בָדָ֗יו יִתְנֶחָֽם׃
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men. 15עֲצַבֵּ֣י הַ֭גּוֹיִם כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֑ב מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה יְדֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃
16They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes but cannot see. 16פֶּֽה־ לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ עֵינַ֥יִם לָ֝הֶ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִרְאֽוּ׃
17They have ears but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths. 17אָזְנַ֣יִם לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יַאֲזִ֑ינוּ אַ֝֗ף אֵין־ יֶשׁ־ ר֥וּחַ בְּפִיהֶֽם׃
18Those who make them will be like them, as will all who trust in them. 18כְּ֭מוֹהֶם יִהְי֣וּ עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם כֹּ֭ל אֲשֶׁר־ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בָּהֶֽם׃
19O house of Israel, praise the LORD; O house of Aaron, praise the LORD; 19בֵּ֣ית יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל בָּרֲכ֣וּ אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה בֵּ֥ית אַ֝הֲרֹ֗ן בָּרֲכ֥וּ אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃
20O house of Levi, praise the LORD; you who fear the LORD, praise the LORD! 20בֵּ֣ית הַ֭לֵּוִי בָּרֲכ֣וּ אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה יִֽרְאֵ֥י יְ֝הוָ֗ה בָּרֲכ֥וּ אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃
21Blessed be the LORD from Zion— He who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah! 21בָּ֘ר֤וּךְ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ מִצִּיּ֗וֹן שֹׁ֘כֵ֤ן יְֽרוּשָׁלִָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃
