Apply divine justice in daily choices?
How can we implement God's justice in our daily decision-making?

Setting the Foundation: Psalm 72:1

“Endow the king with Your justice, O God, and the son of the king with Your righteousness.”

• Justice flows from God Himself and must be received before it can be expressed.

• The verse shows a transfer: God → king → people. In Christ, “He has made us kings and priests” (Revelation 1:6), so every believer carries this mandate.

What God’s Justice Looks Like

• Unchanging standard
 — Psalm 19:9 “The judgments of the LORD are true and altogether righteous.”

• Impartiality
 — James 2:1 “Do not show favoritism.”

• Protection of the vulnerable
 — Isaiah 1:17 “Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.”

• Consistency with righteousness
 — Proverbs 21:3 “To do righteousness and justice is more pleasing to the LORD than sacrifice.”

Aligning Every Decision with His Justice

1. Seek His wisdom first

 • Begin choices with prayerful dependence, echoing Psalm 72:1.

2. Check the Word as the plumb line

 • Hebrews 4:12 exposes motives; compare actions to Scripture’s clear commands.

3. Guard the heart from partiality

 • Ask: “Would I decide differently if roles were reversed?” (cf. Leviticus 19:15).

4. Prioritize truth over convenience

 • Ephesians 4:25 calls for honest speech even when costly.

5. Side with the weak when powers collide

 • Proverbs 31:8–9 urges speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

6. Act quickly but not rashly

 • Proverbs 18:13 warns against decisions before hearing all facts.
