Foundation Verse: God’s Glory Forever

“to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:5)


What It Means to “Give Glory”

• Recognize God’s worth and respond with honor.

• Direct praise, obedience, and gratitude to Him alone.

• Reflect His character so others see who He is.


Everyday Expressions of Glory in the Community

• Public Praise

– Share answered prayers and testimonies (Psalm 96:3).

– Sing or play Christ-honoring music in community events.

• Visible Good Works

– “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

– Volunteer at local shelters, mentor youth, clean neighborhoods.

• Integrity in Daily Business

– Keep promises, pay fair wages, avoid gossip (Proverbs 11:1).

– Model ethical decisions so coworkers see Christ’s standards.

• Hospitality and Generosity

– Open homes for meals and Bible study (Hebrews 13:2).

– Support families in crisis with food, childcare, or finances.

• Unified Worship

– Gather with local churches for public prayer and Scripture reading.

– Avoid divisive speech; pursue reconciliation (John 17:22).

• Compassionate Justice

– Defend the vulnerable (Isaiah 1:17).

– Advocate for unborn life, care for widows and orphans.

• Faithful Speech

– “If anyone speaks, he should speak as one conveying the words of God … so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 4:11)

– Offer words that build up, not tear down.

• Stewardship of Creation

– Organize community clean-ups; reduce waste (Genesis 2:15).

– Teach children to appreciate and protect God’s handiwork.

• Celebrating God in Ordinary Moments

– “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

– Thank Him aloud at meals in restaurants, games, meetings.


Living It Out Together

When a church family consistently honors Jesus in public worship, private conduct, and active service, the watching world sees “the glory forever and ever” that belongs to God alone.
