How can we lead others to Jesus today?
In what ways can we guide others to find Jesus today?

Setting the scene in John 9:12

“ ‘Where is He?’ they asked. ‘I do not know,’ he answered.” (John 9:12)

The neighbors had just witnessed a miracle—yet the very man who received it could not tell them where to find Jesus. That simple question pushes us to consider how we, unlike the formerly blind man at that moment, can actively guide people to the Savior today.

The question that still echoes: “Where is He?”

• People around us still ask, in words or silence, “Where can I meet this Jesus you talk about?”

• Our answer is not “I do not know,” but a confident pointing to the One revealed in Scripture, alive, and accessible.

Practical ways to guide others to Jesus

• Share your story of encounter

– “There is one thing I do know: I was blind, but now I see!” (John 9:25)

– Personal testimony opens eyes that arguments often cannot.

• Invite them to “come and see”

– Jesus: “Come, and you will see.” (John 1:39)

– Philip to Nathanael: “Come and see.” (John 1:46)

– A simple invitation to church, a Bible study, or a meal where Christ is honored can spark faith.

• Open the Scriptures together

– “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

– Read a Gospel, answer questions, let the living Word speak.

• Let your transformed life shine

– “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

– Consistent integrity and kindness authenticate the message.

• Speak with gentle confidence

– “Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you.” (1 Peter 3:15)

– Clear, gracious explanations remove obstacles and point to Christ.

• Pray specifically and persistently

– “Act wisely toward outsiders… Let your speech always be gracious.” (Colossians 4:5-6)

– Prayer softens hearts—theirs and ours—for divine appointments.

• Leverage everyday platforms

– Home hospitality, workplace excellence, social media posts drenched in truth and grace—all become signposts to Jesus.

• Walk the long road of discipleship

– “Go therefore and make disciples… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

– Guiding doesn’t end at conversion; ongoing mentoring reveals more of Christ.

Scriptural anchors that reinforce the mission

Luke 8:39—“Return home and describe how much God has done for you.”

Acts 1:8—“You will be My witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”

John 4:29—The Samaritan woman’s excited witness drew an entire town to Jesus.

Putting it into practice this week

1. Identify one person asking—openly or inwardly—“Where is He?”

2. Share a concise part of your testimony with that person.

3. Extend an invitation to read a chapter of John together or attend a Christ-centered gathering.

4. Pray daily for receptive hearts and for bold, gracious words.

5. Follow up, offering ongoing friendship and Scripture engagement.

The question remains on countless lips, and we hold the joyful answer. Point them to Jesus with your words, your life, and the unchanging truth of His Word.
