What actions can we take to experience God's presence in our lives? Entering the Tent and Meeting the Glory “Moses and Aaron then went into the Tent of Meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.” (Leviticus 9:23) What Moses and Aaron Did • Went in together • Met with God inside the sanctuary • Came out united • Spoke blessing over the people • Witnessed God’s glory revealed to all Key Actions We Can Imitate • Draw near intentionally – Hebrews 10:19-22: enter by the blood of Jesus with a sincere heart – Psalm 24:3-4: clean hands, pure heart • Pursue unity in worship – Matthew 18:20: where two or three gather, He is there – Acts 2:1-4: unified disciples welcomed the Spirit • Speak blessing, not criticism – Numbers 6:24-26: priestly blessing releases God’s favor – 1 Peter 3:9: called to inherit a blessing by giving one • Expect God to manifest Himself – John 14:21: obedience invites Christ to reveal Himself – 2 Chronicles 5:13-14: glory filled the house when praise rose Practical Ways to Step In • Set apart time and place—consistent, unrushed, undistracted • Pair Scripture reading with worship songs to align heart and mind • Confess sin immediately; keep short accounts with God • Gather regularly with believers, aiming for unity, not uniformity • End conversations or meetings with spoken blessing and gratitude • Watch for God’s response—peace, conviction, fresh insight, answered prayer Living the Pattern Daily Morning: enter—open the Word, invite His presence. Mid-day: bless—encourage someone with truth or prayer. Evening: reflect—record moments when God’s glory showed up, small or large. As Moses and Aaron discovered, intentional entry, shared worship, and spoken blessing create space for God’s glory to be seen. Follow the same rhythm and expect His nearness. |
