How to invite others to the wedding?
In what ways can we invite others to the "wedding supper"?

Setting the Scene: Revelation 19:9

“Then the angel told me to write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.’ And he added, ‘These are the true words of God.’”

Why the Wedding Supper Matters

• A literal, future celebration where Christ and His redeemed bride rejoice together (Revelation 19:7–9).

• An everlasting fulfillment of Jesus’ promise: “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2–3).

• God’s ultimate display of grace and glory—an event worth inviting everyone to experience.

Our Mandate to Extend the Invitation

• Jesus’ parable of the banquet: “Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in” (Luke 14:23).

• “We are ambassadors for Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:20).

• “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’” (Revelation 22:17).

• “How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard?” (Romans 10:14–15).

Practical Ways to Invite Others

1. Share the Gospel Clearly

– Explain sin, substitutionary atonement, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

– Keep the message centered on Christ, not self‐improvement.

2. Tell Your Testimony

– “Declare what great things God has done for you” (Luke 8:39).

– Personal stories make the invitation relatable.

3. Practice Warm Hospitality

– Open your home for meals or Bible studies (Acts 2:46).

– Model the coming feast through genuine fellowship.

4. Demonstrate Compassionate Service

– Meet practical needs (James 2:15–16).

– Good works adorn the gospel (Titus 2:10).

5. Engage in Persistent Prayer

– Pray for open hearts (Colossians 4:3–4).

– Spiritual battles are won on our knees (Ephesians 6:18).

6. Support and Participate in Missions

– Give, send, or go (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8).

– Every tribe and tongue must hear (Revelation 7:9).

7. Disciple New Believers

– Teach obedience to Christ’s commands (Matthew 28:20).

– Equip them to invite others, multiplying the reach.

8. Leverage Everyday Conversations

– Turn ordinary moments into eternal opportunities (John 4:7–30).

– Ask if you may share what Jesus means to you.

9. Utilize Digital Platforms Wisely

– Post Scripture, testimonies, and sermon links.

– Engage respectfully in online discussions (Colossians 4:6).

10. Stand for Truth Publicly

– Confess Christ without compromise (Matthew 10:32).

– A clear witness cuts through cultural confusion.

Living as a Signpost

When our words, works, and worship align with Scripture, we serve as living invitations to the wedding supper. Let us “walk in a manner worthy of the calling” (Ephesians 4:1), so that many will hear the call, accept the invitation, and rejoice forever at the table of the Lamb.
