How to seek God's help daily?
In what ways can we seek God's help and protection in daily life?

Psalm 60 : 5 Our Daily Cry

“Save us with Your right hand; answer us, that those You love may be delivered.”

Drawing Near to the Banner of His Love

• A banner marked a safe rally-point in battle; God Himself is that banner (Exodus 17 : 15).

• Coming under it means trusting His authority and His unfailing affection for us.

Practical Ways to Seek His Help and Protection Each Day

• Call on Him first

 – Psalm 50 : 15 “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you …”

 – Begin every morning with a simple plea: “Lord, save and help me today with Your right hand.”

• Stand on His Word

 – Psalm 119 : 114 “You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in Your word.”

 – Keep a promise close (e.g., Psalm 91 : 1-2) and recite it whenever fear surfaces.

• Put on His Armor

 – Ephesians 6 : 10-18 lists truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God.

 – Consciously “dress” in these virtues before stepping into the day.

• Walk in Obedience

 – Proverbs 3 : 5-6 links trusting Him with straight paths.

 – Choose honesty, purity, forgiveness; obedience keeps you beneath His covering.

• Stay in Fellowship

 – Ecclesiastes 4 : 12 “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

 – Share needs and pray for one another (James 5 : 16); God often protects through His people.

• Rest in His Sovereignty

 – Psalm 121 : 7-8 “The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in …”

 – Hand over worries (1 Peter 5 : 7) and trust His watch even while you sleep.

• Cultivate Thankfulness

 – 1 Thessalonians 5 : 18 “Give thanks in all circumstances …”

 – Gratitude reminds the heart of His past deliverances and fuels faith for today.

What His Right Hand Provides

• Strength Isaiah 41 : 10

• Security John 10 : 28

• Certain Victory Romans 8 : 32

Living Psalm 60 : 5 Throughout the Day

Ask … believe He hears … step forward expecting deliverance. Then watch for His hand in travel mercies, timely wisdom, or unexpected peace—and give Him the credit every time help arrives.

A Daily Declaration to Carry Forward

“Lord, because You love me, I rally under Your banner. With Your right hand lift me, guide me, and keep me, so that my life today displays Your deliverance.”
