How to share the good news today?
What practical steps can we take to "proclaim the good news" today?

The Mandate

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Preparing the Messenger

• Daily seek the Lord in prayer; ask specifically for boldness (Acts 4:29).

• Saturate your mind with Scripture so the message overflows naturally (Colossians 3:16).

• Confess sin promptly; a clean conscience keeps the witness clear (Psalm 66:18).

Living the Message

• Practice visible integrity at work and home; credibility gives weight to words (1 Peter 2:12).

• Display sacrificial love within the body of Christ—“By this all men will know that you are My disciples” (John 13:35).

• Exhibit joy and hope, prompting others to “ask you to give the reason” (1 Peter 3:15).

Starting Personal Conversations

• Listen first; genuine interest opens doors for gospel truth (Proverbs 18:13).

• Share your testimony briefly—how Christ saved you (Acts 22:3-21).

• Clarify the essentials: God’s holiness, human sin, Christ’s substitution, and the call to repent and believe (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

• Invite a response; urge repentance today (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Leveraging Everyday Platforms

• Use mealtimes to read a short passage aloud and discuss.

• Keep tracts or New Testaments handy for natural hand-offs.

• Post Scripture-centered content on social media without quarrelsome tone (2 Timothy 2:24-25).

• Offer to pray for people on the spot; many open up when needs are addressed.

Serving Tangibly

• Meet practical needs: food drives, tutoring, visitation—then connect service to Christ’s love (Matthew 5:16).

• Volunteer in community events; relationships formed there often lead to gospel discussions.

• Support crisis-pregnancy centers, prison outreaches, and homeless ministries that keep evangelism central.

Discipling New Believers

• Invite them to church and small groups immediately (Hebrews 10:24-25).

• Walk through a gospel account together, one chapter a week.

• Model prayer, Bible study, and obedience so they learn by imitation (2 Timothy 2:2).

Partnering Beyond Yourself

• Pray regularly for missionaries by name (Ephesians 6:19-20).

• Give sacrificially to sound mission work (Philippians 4:15-17).

• Consider short-term trips to encourage long-term teams and broaden your own vision.

Persevering with Confidence

• Remember the gospel is God’s power for salvation (Romans 1:16); results rest with Him.

• Expect opposition yet rejoice that suffering identifies you with Christ (2 Timothy 3:12).

• Anticipate eternal fruit: “your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
