How to share the gospel today?
In what ways can we share the "glorious gospel" in our communities today?

Anchored in 1 Timothy 1:11

“according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which I have been entrusted with.”

What Makes the Gospel Glorious

• It comes from “the blessed God,” not human opinion (Galatians 1:11–12).

• It reveals God’s grace that rescues sinners (Ephesians 2:8–9).

• It has power to save everyone who believes—Jew or Gentile (Romans 1:16).

• It unveils Christ’s victory over death (2 Timothy 1:10).

• It produces transformed lives that display God’s glory (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Everyday Avenues for Sharing the Gospel

Word-Centered Witness

• Speak up: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

• Be ready in daily conversations—cafés, break rooms, sidelines (1 Peter 3:15).

• Keep a clear, simple explanation of Christ’s death and resurrection on your lips (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Compassionate Deeds

• Tangible help—meals, rides, child-care—opens hearts (Matthew 5:16).

• Volunteer at shelters, crisis-pregnancy centers, or food banks; serve in Jesus’ name (Hebrews 10:24).

• Follow up deeds with words so people connect kindness to the cross (1 John 3:18).

Hospitable Homes

• Open the table: “They broke bread from house to house.” (Acts 2:46)

• Use holidays, game nights, and barbecues to share life and the message.

• Create a setting where questions are welcome and Scripture is read naturally.

Local Church Ministry

• Join or start neighborhood Bible studies or kids’ clubs.

• Support evangelistic events—sports camps, block parties, concerts.

• Disciple new believers one-on-one, helping them ground their faith (Matthew 28:19–20).

Digital Presence

• Post testimonies, verses, and gospel articles; share church livestreams.

• Engage kindly in comment threads—“speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15).

• Host an online study group; pray privately for contacts and follow up offline.

Public Sphere Engagement

• Workplace: integrity and excellence create credibility (Colossians 3:23).

• Schools: mentor, tutor, coach; live the message before students (1 Timothy 4:12).

• Civic service: serve on boards, volunteer for community projects, bringing a gospel aroma (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Heart Posture for Faithful Witness

• Boldness without shame—“I am not ashamed of the gospel.” (Romans 1:16)

• Compassion that mirrors Christ’s love for the lost (Matthew 9:36).

• Readiness—“Preach the word; be ready in season and out.” (2 Timothy 4:2)

• Wisdom and grace—“Walk in wisdom toward outsiders… let your speech be gracious, seasoned with salt.” (Colossians 4:5–6)

• Dependence on the Spirit, trusting that “faith comes by hearing… the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

Putting It All Together

As the gospel has been entrusted to us, we steward it by word and deed. Whether across a fence, across a screen, or across an ocean, the same glorious message—Christ crucified, risen, and reigning—still rescues and restores. Let’s live and speak so that our communities hear, see, and experience that good news today.
