How to spread the gospel to everyone?
In what ways can we ensure the gospel reaches all people groups?

\The Moment in Antioch\

“Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: ‘It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.’” (Acts 13:46)

Paul’s decisive turn from an unresponsive synagogue audience to the wider Gentile world shows that the gospel is meant for every ethnicity. When one door closes, God opens another so His good news can keep moving outward.

\Recognizing God’s Heart for Every Nation\

• “For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” (Acts 13:47)

• “All the families of the earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3)

• “I will also make You a light for the nations, to bring My salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Isaiah 49:6)

• “After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue.” (Revelation 7:9)

God’s plan has always stretched beyond Israel to encompass every people group, and He guarantees a future scene where that vision is fulfilled.

\Practical Pathways to Reach Every People Group\

• Persistent prayer

– “He desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)

– Intercede for open doors, receptive hearts, and bold witnesses.

• Going and sending

– “Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)

– Some of us cross cultures personally; all of us help send others (Romans 10:14-15).

• Scripture translation and distribution

– People best grasp truth in their own language.

– “All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching…” (2 Timothy 3:16).

• Culturally sensitive evangelism

– Learn local customs, honor culture where it does not contradict Scripture, avoid unnecessary offense (1 Corinthians 9:22-23).

• Training multiplying disciples

– “What you have heard from me… entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2).

– Focus on reproducible models so gospel seed keeps spreading after the missionary leaves.

• Healthy partnerships

– Churches, agencies, and believers pooling resources as the Philippians did for Paul (Philippians 4:15-16).

• Leveraging technology

– Radio, print-on-demand, internet, apps, and smartphones allow truth to bypass borders and closed doors.

– “Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Colossians 3:17).

• Whole-life witness

– Integrity at work, hospitality at home, compassion to the marginalized display the gospel in action (Titus 2:10).

\Guarding the Message While Crossing Cultures\

• Hold fast to the pure gospel (Galatians 1:8-9).

• Teach the whole counsel of God to new believers (Acts 20:27).

• Resist syncretism—affirm biblical truth while appreciating culture.

• Train local leaders quickly so they, not outsiders, become primary shepherds.

\The Promise that Fuels Our Effort\

• “So will My word be… it will not return to Me empty.” (Isaiah 55:11)

• Jesus guarantees His presence “to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

• The Holy Spirit supplies power for witness “to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

God’s unfailing promises assure us that every sacrifice, every prayer, and every conversation contributes to the certain day when people from every tongue will praise the Lamb.

\Your Place in the Story\

Because Acts 13 shows God’s unrelenting pursuit of every nation, each believer has a meaningful role—praying, giving, going, sending, welcoming, and sharing—until all peoples hear and worship the risen Christ.

How does Acts 13:46 connect with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20?
