God’s Spirit Makes Us His Temple

1 Corinthians 3:16: “Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

Paul states this as an established fact—every believer is now the very dwelling place of God’s Spirit.

Old Testament Promises Now Realized

Joel 2:28 — “I will pour out My Spirit on all people.”

These prophecies looked ahead to the very reality Paul announces in 1 Corinthians 3:16.

• Unity — One Spirit welds diverse believers into one temple (Ephesians 2:19-22).

Responding to His Indwelling Presence
