Truth

In the biblical context, truth is a fundamental attribute of God and a cornerstone of His revelation to humanity. The Bible consistently presents God as the ultimate source and standard of truth. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for truth, "emet," conveys notions of firmness, reliability, and faithfulness. This is evident in passages such as Deuteronomy 32:4, which declares, "He is the Rock, His work is perfect; all His ways are just. A God of faithfulness without injustice, righteous and upright is He."

The New Testament continues this theme, emphasizing the person of Jesus Christ as the embodiment of truth. In John 14:6, Jesus proclaims, "I am the way and the truth and the life. Uprightness

The Bible frequently associates uprightness with the fear of the Lord and obedience to His commandments. Proverbs 11:3 states, "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perversity of the faithless destroys them." This verse illustrates the belief that uprightness leads to a life of integrity and stability, while deviation from God's ways results in destruction.
