Truth and the Enemy

Satan, described as "a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44), seeks to deceive and lead believers astray. Truth and Righteousness

The connection between truth and righteousness is also noteworthy. The belt of truth is mentioned alongside the breastplate of righteousness, suggesting an interdependence between the two. Righteousness, or living in accordance with God's standards, is grounded in the truth of His Word. Without truth, righteousness becomes subjective and unstable.
