Judges 3:9
Good News Translation
Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, and he sent someone to free them. This was Othniel, the son of Caleb's younger brother Kenaz.

New Revised Standard Version
But when the Israelites cried out to the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer for the Israelites, who delivered them, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.

Contemporary English Version
The Israelites begged the LORD for help, and so he chose Othniel to rescue them. Othniel was the son of Caleb's younger brother Kenaz.
