A psalm for Asaph. How good is God to Israel, to them that are of a right heart!
Psalm 50:1 A psalm for Asaph. The God of gods, the Lord hath spoken: and he hath called the earth. From the rising of the sun, to the going down thereof:
Psalm 74:1 Understanding for Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off unto the end: why is thy wrath enkindled against the sheep of thy pasture?

Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God.
The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels.
The praises of David, the son of Jesse, are ended.
For thou, O Lord, art sweet and mild: and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon thee.
