| 2Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. | 2Pay attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for I pray to You. |
| 3O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. | 3At daybreak, LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly. |
| 4For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. | 4For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with You. |
