| 1The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, | 1A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. |
| 2for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. | 2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. |
