| 12and so incur condemnation for having abandoned their former faith. | 12thus incurring condemnation, because they have set aside their previous pledge. |

| 16If any believing woman has relatives who are widows, let her care for them. | 18For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” | 18For the Scripture says, "YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING," and "The laborer is worthy of his wages." |
