Psalm 108
HCSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleEnglish Standard Version
A song. A Davidic psalm. My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being. 1My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. 2Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
I will praise You, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. 3I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For Your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. 4For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
God, be exalted above the heavens, and let Your glory be over the whole earth. 5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
Save with Your right hand and answer me so that those You love may be rescued. 6That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me!
God has spoken in His sanctuary:" I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. 7God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine, and Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter. 8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
Moab is My washbasin; I throw My sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia." 9Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
God, haven't You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies. 11Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless. 12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!
With God we will perform valiantly; He will trample our foes. 13With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
