| 2to proclaim your gracious love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, | 2It is fitting to proclaim your loyal love in the morning, and your faithfulness during the night, |
| 3accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, and the contemplative sound of a harp. | 3to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, to the accompaniment of the meditative tone of the harp. |
| 4Because you made me glad with your awesome deeds, LORD, I will sing for joy at the works of your hands. | 4For you, O LORD, have made me happy by your work. I will sing for joy because of what you have done. |
| 5How great are your works, LORD! Your thoughts are unfathomable. | 5How great are your works, O LORD! Your plans are very intricate! |
| 6A stupid man doesn't know, and a fool can't comprehend this: | 6The spiritually insensitive do not recognize this; the fool does not understand this. |
