Psalm 103
ISV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew Living Translation
Bless the LORD, my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.1Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Bless the LORD, my soul, and never forget any of his benefits:2Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He continues to forgive all your sins, he continues to heal all your diseases,3He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
he continues to redeem your life from the Pit, and he continuously surrounds you with gracious love and compassion.4He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He keeps satisfying you with good things, and he keeps renewing your youth like the eagle's.5He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
The LORD continuously does what is right, executing justice for all who are being oppressed.6The LORD gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.
He revealed his plans to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.7He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, patient, and abundantly rich in gracious love.8The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He does not maintain a dispute continuously or remain angry for all time.9He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever.
He neither deals with us according to our sins, nor repays us equivalent to our iniquity.10He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
As high as heaven rises above earth, so his gracious love strengthens those who fear him.11For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
As distant as the east is from the west, that is how far he has removed our sins from us.12He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.
As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion for those who fear him.13The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
For he knows how we were formed, aware that we were made from dust.14For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.
A person's life is like grass— it blossoms like wild flowers,15Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
but when the wind blows through it, it withers away and no one remembers where it was.16The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here.
Yet the LORD's gracious love remains throughout eternity for those who fear him and his righteous acts extend to their children's children,17But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children
to those who keep his covenant and to those who remember to observe his precepts.18of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!
The LORD has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all.19The LORD has made the heavens his throne; from there he rules over everything.
Bless the LORD, you angels who belong to him, you mighty warriors who carry out his commands, who are obedient to the sound of his words. 20Praise the LORD, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.
Bless the LORD, all his heavenly armies, his ministers who do his will.21Yes, praise the LORD, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will!
Bless the LORD, all his creation, in all the places of his dominion. Bless the LORD, my soul.22Praise the LORD, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the LORD.
