KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.1Clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with a loud cry of joy!
For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.2For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.
He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.3He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.4He chose our inheritance for us, even the pride of Jacob whom he loved. Interlude
God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.5God has ascended on high with a shout, the LORD has ascended with the blast of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.6Sing songs to God! Sing songs! Sing songs to our King! Sing songs!
For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.7Indeed, God is king over all the earth; sing a song of praise.
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.8God is king over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.9The nobles among the nations have joined the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.
