| 2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; In the night my hand was stretched out without weariness; My soul refused to be comforted. | 2I sought the Lord in my day of trouble. My hands were continually lifted up all night long; I refused to be comforted. |
| 3When I remember God, then I am disturbed; When I sigh, then my spirit grows faint. Selah. | 3I think of God; I groan; I meditate; my spirit becomes weak. Selah |
