| 2Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! | 2Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his armies! |
| 3Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! | 3Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. |
| 4Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! | 4Praise him, you heaven of heavens, and you waters above the heavens. |
| 5Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created. | 5Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he himself gave the command that they be created. |
| 6He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away. | 6He set them in place to last forever and ever; he gave the command and will not rescind it. |

| 10Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and winged fowl; | 10living creatures and livestock, insects and flying birds, |
| 11Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; | 11earthly kings and all peoples, nobles and all court officials of the earth, |
| 12Both young men and virgins; Old men and children. | 12young men and young women alike, along with older people and children. |
| 13Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven. | 13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is lifted up; his majesty transcends earth and heaven. |
| 14And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones; Even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD! | 14He has raised up a source of strength for his people, an object of praise for all of his holy ones, that is, for the people of Israel who are near him. Hallelujah! |
