A Psalm of Praise, of David. I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.1A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.2Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.3Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.4One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.5They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty-- and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.6They tell of the power of your awesome works-- and I will proclaim your great deeds.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.7They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.8The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.9The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You.10All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power;11They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.12so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.14The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.15The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.16You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.17The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.18The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.19He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.20The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.
My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.21My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.
