New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
A Psalm of Praise, of David. I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.1I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.2I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever.
Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.3Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.
One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.4Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.5I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.
Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.6Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.7Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.
The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.8The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.9The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You.10All of your works will thank you, LORD, and your faithful followers will praise you.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power;11They will speak of the glory of your kingdom; they will give examples of your power.
To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.12They will tell about your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of your reign.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.13For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does.
The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.14The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.15The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.
You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.16When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.17The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.18The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.19He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.
The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.20The LORD protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.
My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.21I will praise the LORD, and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.
