| 1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart. | 1A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. |
| 2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn! | 2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. |
| 3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners! | 3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. |
