3At this my body is racked with pain, pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor; I am staggered by what I hear, I am bewildered by what I see. | 3Therefore my body is racked with pain; pangs have seized me, like the pangs of a woman in labor; I am so upset that I cannot hear; I am so frightened that I cannot see while I'm reeling around. |

7When he sees chariots with teams of horses, riders on donkeys or riders on camels, let him be alert, fully alert." | 7When he sees chariots, each man with a pair of horses, riders on donkeys or riders on camels, let him pay attention, full attention." |
8And the lookout shouted, "Day after day, my lord, I stand on the watchtower; every night I stay at my post. | 8Then the lookout shouted: "Upon a watchtower I stand, O Lord, continually by day, and I am stationed at my post throughout the night. |

17The survivors of the archers, the warriors of Kedar, will be few." The LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken. | 17And there will be few archers, those who are descendants of Kedar, who survive, because the LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken." |
