Psalm 108
NIV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.1A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.2Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.3I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.4For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.
Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.6That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.7God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.8"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.
Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."9"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?11Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?
Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.12Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.
With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.13Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.
