| 3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, | 3He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, |
| 4who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, | 4who delivers your life from the Pit, who crowns you with his loyal love and compassion, |
| 5who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. | 5who satisfies your life with good things, so your youth is renewed like an eagle's. |
| 6The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. | 6The LORD does what is fair, and executes justice for all the oppressed. |

| 16the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. | 16but when the hot wind blows by, it disappears, and one can no longer even spot the place where it once grew. |
| 17But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- | 17But the LORD continually shows loyal love to his faithful followers, and is faithful to their descendants, |
| 18with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. | 18to those who keep his covenant, who are careful to obey his commands. |
