| 2Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God; | 2Protect me, for I am loyal! O my God, deliver your servant, who trusts in you! |
| 3have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. | 3Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I cry out to you all day long! |
| 4Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. | 4Make your servant glad, for to you, O Lord, I pray! |
| 5You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. | 5Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you. |
| 6Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. | 6O LORD, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for mercy! |
| 7When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me. | 7In my time of trouble I cry out to you, for you will answer me. |
| 8Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. | 8None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable! |
| 9All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. | 9All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, O Lord. They will honor your name. |

| 15But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. | 15But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness. |
| 16Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did. | 16Turn toward me and have mercy on me! Give your servant your strength! Deliver your slave! |
| 17Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me. | 17Show me evidence of your favor! Then those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, for you, O LORD, will help me and comfort me. |
