How to exalt Jesus in your community?
What steps can you take to exalt Jesus in your community?

Rooted in Christ’s Exaltation

“Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names” (Philippians 2:9).

Because the Father has already exalted Jesus, every step you take to lift Him up in your community simply lines up with heaven’s settled reality.

Reflect His Supremacy Through Your Life

• Pursue personal holiness; let your lifestyle confirm that Jesus is Lord (1 Peter 1:15–16).

• Obey His words promptly; obedience is public proof that His name rules your heart (John 14:21).

• Cultivate visible joy; rejoicing in Christ signals that nothing else compares (Philippians 4:4).

Speak the Name Boldly

• Share the gospel openly: “Salvation exists in no one else” (Acts 4:12).

• Confess Him in everyday conversations—work, school, social media—because “with your mouth you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9–10).

• Offer to pray for neighbors in Jesus’ name; simple prayers often open deeper doors.

Serve with His Mindset

• Adopt the towel, not the throne: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45).

• Look for unnoticed needs—yard work, meals, child-care—and meet them quietly.

• Follow His foot-washing example (John 13:14–15); humble service always magnifies Christ.

Shape Community Rhythms Around Jesus

• Host regular Bible studies or worship nights; invite believers and seekers alike.

• Integrate Christ-centered traditions into local events—Christmas caroling, Resurrection-day sunrise service.

• Encourage city leaders to allow public Scripture readings or Nativity displays when possible.

Stand Firm Against Compromise

• “Contend earnestly for the faith” (Jude 3) by graciously correcting error.

• Keep Scripture on your lips when cultural pressure tempts silence (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

• Give answers “with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15) so truth and love arrive together.

Saturate Your Environment with Scripture

• Post verses in your home, workplace, or online feed (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).

• Memorize key passages as a family; let conversations naturally spill over with the Word (Colossians 3:16).

• Share daily texts or devotionals in group chats to keep hearts anchored.

Support Gospel Witnesses

• Pray, give, and volunteer with missionaries and church planters: “How can they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:15).

• Partner with local ministries that exalt Jesus among the poor, the addicted, or the unreached.

• “We ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers for the truth” (3 John 8).

Celebrate His Works Publicly

• Tell fresh testimonies at community gatherings: “Give thanks to the LORD… make known His deeds among the nations” (Psalm 105:1).

• Mark answered prayers with visible gratitude—social posts, neighborhood cookouts, thank-you notes.

• Sing Christ-exalting songs in parks, nursing homes, or school events; music carries His name where sermons may not.

In every step—living, speaking, serving, and standing—you echo heaven’s verdict: Jesus is already exalted. Your community simply needs to see what God has declared.
