How to share God's goodness this week?
In what ways can you share God's goodness with others this week?

Anchoring in Psalm 27:13

“Yet I am certain I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”

David looks forward with unshakable confidence. God’s goodness is not abstract; it shows up in real time, among real people. That certainty fuels our own call to spread His goodness this week.

Recognizing the Goodness We Have Received

• Salvation and forgiveness through Christ (Ephesians 1:7)

• Daily mercies that never run dry (Lamentations 3:22-23)

• Every good and perfect gift, from the breath in our lungs to the bread on our tables (James 1:17)

When we notice His blessings, gratitude overflows—and gratitude naturally spills out to bless others.

Practical Ways to Share God’s Goodness This Week

• Speak of His works

– Tell a coworker or neighbor what God has done for you (Psalm 145:4-7).

• Offer intentional encouragement

– A text, call, or handwritten note infused with Scripture like Proverbs 16:24 or Ephesians 4:29.

• Practice generosity

– Give time, talent, or treasure to someone in need (2 Corinthians 9:11).

• Show hospitality

– Invite someone for a meal or coffee; create space for fellowship (1 Peter 4:9).

• Serve within the church family

– Use your spiritual gift “for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7).

• Demonstrate kindness in everyday moments

– Hold the door, carry groceries, thank service workers (Galatians 6:10).

• Pray for others on the spot

– When someone shares a burden, pause and intercede right then (1 Timothy 2:1).

• Share Scripture on social media

– God’s word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11).

• Extend forgiveness quickly

– Reflect God’s heart by letting go of offenses (Ephesians 4:32).

• Radiate joy

– A cheerful countenance rooted in Christ invites questions about your hope (Philippians 4:4; 1 Peter 3:15).

Living Expectantly in the Land of the Living

Whatever this week holds, approach each day believing you will “see the goodness of the LORD.” That expectancy fuels courage, kindness, and contagious hope: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)

How can you cultivate a heart that expects to see God's goodness?
