Jeremiah 15:15 — A servant’s cry for justice

“You understand, O LORD; remember me and attend to me. Avenge me against my persecutors. In Your patience, do not take me away. Know that I endure reproach for Your name.”


Justice affirmed in the Law

- Deuteronomy 32:35-36 — “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot slips; for the day of disaster is near… For the LORD will vindicate His people and have compassion on His servants.”

- Exodus 22:22-23 — “You must not mistreat any widow or orphan. If you do mistreat them… My anger will burn, and I will kill you with the sword.”
