The early church is characterized by communal living and mutual support, as seen in Acts 2:44-45: "All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need."

The Apostle Paul encourages believers to serve one another in love. In Galatians 5:13, he writes, "For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather, serve one another in love." Practical Application

The Bible calls Christians to live out compassion and service in practical ways. James 1:27 defines pure religion as caring for orphans and widows in their distress. Believers are encouraged to use their gifts to serve others, as stated in 1 Peter 4:10: "As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another."
