Creation Order

The concept of creation order refers to the sequence and structure in which God created the universe, as described in the Book of Genesis. According to Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth in six days, establishing a divine order and purpose for each element of creation. This order reflects God's sovereignty, wisdom, and intentionality in the design of the universe.

On the first day, God created light, separating it from darkness (Genesis 1:3-5). On the second day, He created the expanse, or sky, to divide the waters (Genesis 1:6-8).
