May God Cause His Face to Shine upon Us

לַמְנַצֵּ֥ח (For the one directing). בִּנְגִינֹ֗ת (On stringed instruments). מִזְמ֥וֹר (A Psalm). שִֽׁיר׃ (A Song).

1אֱלֹהִ֗ים (God) יְחָנֵּ֥נוּ (may be gracious to us) וִֽיבָרְכֵ֑נוּ (and bless us),

יָ֤אֵ֥ר (and cause to shine) פָּנָ֖יו (His face) אִתָּ֣נוּ (upon us),

סֶֽלָה׃ (Selah)

2  לָדַ֣עַת (for the knowing) בָּאָ֣רֶץ (on the earth) דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ (of Your way),

בְּכָל־ (among all) גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם (nations) יְשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃ (Your salvation).

3  יוֹד֖וּךָ (May praise You) עַמִּ֥ים׀ (the peoples), אֱלֹהִ֑ים (O God);

י֝וֹד֗וּךָ (may praise You) עַמִּ֥ים (the peoples)— כֻּלָּֽם׃ (all of them).

4  יִֽשְׂמְח֥וּ (May they be glad) וִֽירַנְּנ֗וּ (and sing for joy) לְאֻ֫מִּ֥ים (the nations),

כִּֽי־ (for) תִשְׁפֹּ֣ט (you will judge) עַמִּ֣ים (the peoples) מִישׁ֑וֹר (with uprightness),

וּלְאֻמִּ֓ים׀ (and the nations) בָּאָ֖רֶץ (on the earth) תַּנְחֵ֣ם (You will guide).

סֶֽלָה׃ (Selah)

5  יוֹד֖וּךָ (let praise You) עַמִּ֥ים׀ (the peoples), אֱלֹהִ֑ים (O God);

י֝וֹד֗וּךָ (let praise You) עַמִּ֥ים (the peoples)— כֻּלָּֽם׃ (all of them).

6  אֶ֭רֶץ (The earth) נָתְנָ֣ה (has given) יְבוּלָ֑הּ (her produce);

יְ֝בָרְכֵ֗נוּ (blesses us) אֱלֹהִ֥ים (God), אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ (our God).

7  יְבָרְכֵ֥נוּ (Blesses us) אֱלֹהִ֑ים (God),

וְיִֽירְא֥וּ (and shall fear) אֹ֝ת֗וֹ (Him) כָּל־ (all) אַפְסֵי־ (the ends) אָֽרֶץ׃ (of the earth).
