Yahweh Loves the Gates of Zion

לִבְנֵי־ (Of the sons) קֹ֭רַח (of Korah) מִזְמ֣וֹר (a Psalm). שִׁ֑יר (A song).

1יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ (His foundation)

בְּהַרְרֵי־ (is on the mountains) קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ (of holiness).

2  אֹהֵ֣ב (Loves) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) שַׁעֲרֵ֣י (the gates) צִיּ֑וֹן (of Zion)

מִ֝כֹּ֗ל (above all) מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת (the dwellings) יַעֲקֹֽב׃ (of Jacob).

3  נִ֭כְבָּדוֹת (Glorious things) מְדֻבָּ֣ר (are ascribed) בָּ֑ךְ (to you),

עִ֖יר (O city) הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים (of God).

סֶֽלָה׃ (Selah).

4  אַזְכִּ֤יר׀ (I will mention) רַ֥הַב (Rahab) וּבָבֶ֗ל (and Babylon)

לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י (among those who know Me)—

הִנֵּ֤ה (behold) פְלֶ֣שֶׁת (Philistia) וְצ֣וֹר (and Tyre), עִם־ (with) כּ֑וּשׁ (Cush):

זֶ֝֗ה (This one) יֻלַּד־ (was born) שָֽׁם׃ (there).

5  וּֽלֲצִיּ֨וֹן׀ (And of Zion) יֵאָמַ֗ר (it will be said):

אִ֣ישׁ (This man) וְ֭אִישׁ (and that man) יֻלַּד־ (were born) בָּ֑הּ (in her),

וְה֖וּא (and He) יְכוֹנְנֶ֣הָ (will establish her)— עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ (the Most High).

6  יְֽהוָ֗ה (YHWH) יִ֭סְפֹּר (will record), בִּכְת֣וֹב (in the register) עַמִּ֑ים (of the peoples):

זֶ֖ה (This one) יֻלַּד־ (was born) שָׁ֣ם (there).

סֶֽלָה׃ (Selah).

7  וְשָׁרִ֥ים (And those singing) כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים (also as players on instruments):

כָּֽל־ (All) מַעְיָנַ֥י (my springs are) בָּֽךְ׃ (in you).
