Isaiah 54:1
Good News Translation
Jerusalem, you have been like a childless woman, but now you can sing and shout for joy. Now you will have more children than a woman whose husband never left her.

Contemporary English Version
Sing and shout, even though you have never had children! The LORD has promised that you will have more children than someone married for a long time.

New American Bible
Raise a glad cry, you barren one who never bore a child, break forth in jubilant song, you who have never been in labor, For more numerous are the children of the deserted wife than the children of her who has a husband, says the LORD.

Douay-Rheims Bible
