Psalm 84
Peshitta Holy Bible Translated Par ▾
How beloved are your tabernacles, LORD JEHOVAH of hosts!

My soul has waited and has lusted for the courts of LORD JEHOVAH! My heart and my flesh have praised The Living God!

Even the sparrow has found a house for itself and the pigeon makes a nest; they have raised chicks on the side of your altar, LORD JEHOVAH of Hosts, my King and my God!

Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they shall praise you for eternity!

Blessed is the son of man whose helper you are, and in whose heart are your ways!

They passed by the valley of weeping and they have made it a dwelling place, also blessings will cover The Lawgiver.

They will go from power to power and the God of gods will be seen in Zion!

LORD JEHOVAH, God of hosts, hear my prayer and give ear, God of Jacob!

And see, God our shield, and look at the face of your Anointed!

Because one day in your court is better than a thousand! I have desired to dwell in the house of God more than to dwell in the tent of the wicked.

Because LORD JEHOVAH is God, our sustainer and our helper; LORD JEHOVAH will give love and honor and will not withhold his good things from those who walk in perfection.

LORD JEHOVAH, God of hosts, blessed is the man who hopes in you!
